SYNTAX were an excellent female fronted band from California. These songs were recorded in 1985 at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, CA and previously unreleased in any format!! Featuring the awesome vocals of Maya Bohnhoff and the tasty, understated guitar work of husband Jeff Bohnhoff while rounded out by top notch musicians Greg Restad (guitar, keys), Michael P. (bass) and Tom Cebollero (drums).  Syntax play a superb dynamic melodic rock / AOR with touches of progressive rock. All songs were engineered and co-produced by the very reputable TOM SIZE (Aerosmith, Y&T, Starship, Mr. Big) so the sound quality and production is killer!!  Definitely for fans of Pat Benatar, Sandy Stewart, Starship, Broken Voices, Scandal, Envy, Luba, The Storm, Karla Bonoff, etc...
