An absolutely stunning and engaging release from SYNTAX , originally released on cassette only in 1990, and featuring the formidable songwriting team of husband / wife Jeff and Maya Bohnhoff. Jeff's guitar tones and chordal / note selection are second-to-none while Maya's enchanting vocals and compelling lyrics really draw you in to every song. Syntax move into more progressive melodic rock / AOR ground here with most of the songs clocking in at 5 minutes+.  The songs, performances, and production are all fantastic and there are  obvious influences of Rush, Saga, Peter Gabriel, Sam Brown, Kate Bush, Pink Floyd, Marillion, Max Webster, Millions and Terry Brown all over this recording!!
