Following the demise of Milwaukee's MEGATON BLONDE , drummer Mike Stix (also ex-REALM) would go on to form a heavier band with vocalist Mark Woydelko , Guitarist Jimmy Furlong , and Bassist Scott Meyer called CUTTHROAT.  Recorded in the early 90s , this is the first time ever on cd for their debut release.  This is straight-up 80s-style U.S. Power Metal drawing influences from bands like Crimson Glory, Mercyful Fate , Black Sabbath , Riot , Malice and Flotsam & Jetsam.  Powerful vocals , scorching riffs , and a pounding rhythm section showcased a band with a lot of talent and promise.  Retrospect is very proud to have them on the roster.  A nice find for any collector of obscure traditional American 80s sinister Metal!!  If you don't buy this cd then "it must suck to be you"!!
